VILLE PLATTE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, for Joline Marie Ardoin, 81, who passed away on November 26, 2018 at Lafayette General Hospital.

Father Mitch Guidry, pastor of Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct funeral services.

Entombment will take place in Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Joline Marie Ardoin was born in Eunice, LA on December 03, 1936 to Dudley Joseph Manuel and Mary Mable Daire Manuel. Joline owned and operated Conrad's Jewelers, with her husband for many years. She was very giving and kind. She loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. Her compassionate ways carried over into her professional life; where she worked as a RN at Savoy Medical Center and Evangeline Home Health. She had a strong devotion to Mary, to her church, and her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and making and and crafts for them. Joline had a tremendous love for her country. She volunteered much of her time as the Louisiana State Commander for the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Her kind and compassionate ways will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Letitia Marie Ardoin Vidrine and husband Daniel P. Vidrine of Ville Platte and Katherine A. Fontenot and husband Gerald of Ville Platte; seven grandchildren, Lauren, Rachel, Constance, Josh, Jacob, Michael, and Jami; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Julia Ardoin Herad of Metarie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Conrad Lester Ardoin; parents, Dudley Joseph Manuel and Mary Mable Daire Manuel; sister, Sylvia Manuel Soileau; and granddaughter, Joni Katherine Fontenot.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6:00 PM by Deacon Ben Soileau. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to time of service.
