VILLE PLATTE - Funeral Services for Joann Deville Clark will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Ville Platte officiated by Bro. Kevin West. Interment will follow at Prairie Ronde Baptist Church Cemetery.

Joann Deville Clark, 57 of Ville Platte passed away February 16, 2023, at her residence. She was born on August 23, 1965, in Ville Platte to the late Milton and Pearl Deville. Joann loved reading and studying her bible. She enjoyed planting flowers, playing solitaire and bingo on her phone, as well as dancing to the oldies. While Joann enjoyed a variety of hobbies her greatest joy was found in cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Her daughters were her rainbows, and her grandchildren were her pots of gold.

Survivors include her daughters, Tabitha Thrasher her husband, Brock, Faith Clark her husband, Mike “Pep” Ardoin, and Rebekah Fruge her husband, Cortez “Pug”; brothers, Bobby Deville his wife, Lana and Alton “Acky” Ray Deville his wife, Monique; grandchildren, Cameron Thrasher, Maddison Thrasher, Bryson Thrasher, Jasmine Thrasher, and Braxton Fruge; niece, Hannah Sylvester  her husband, Zack; and nephews, Seth Deville his wife, Desi, Steven “Beefy” Deville,  and Joshua Deville; great-nieces, Rosie Deville and Eleanor Sylvester; great-nephew, Jonathan Sylvester; and lifelong friend, Lorraine Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Pearl Deville; and granddaughter, Lilli Thrasher.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte and will resume at 8:00 AM at First Baptist Church until time of services.
