VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Beverly Ardoin, 79 announces her passing on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 1 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Tim Voorhies as celebrant.
Beverly was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was honored as CDA of the year. She was also an active volunteer at the Mercy Regional Hospital Adoration Chapel and a member of 3803 Post VP VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Beverly was a shining example of every Christian virtue, pure as a lily, simple as a dove and obedient as an angel.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Beverly will be greatly missed by her husband of 61 years, Derell Ardoin of Ville Platte, sons, Pat Ardoin of Ville Platte, James Ardoin and wife Ashley of Ville Platte and her daughter, Amy Windsor and fiancé Rick Latiolais of Catahoula. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 12 grandchildren: Ted Ardoin, Josh Ardoin, Jacob Ardoin, Nikita Catoire, Tressi Lee, Sarah Landry, Brian Windsor, Kaitlyn Ardoin, Tyler Ardoin, Ethan Ardoin, John Patrick Ardoin, Elizabeth Ardoin and eight great grandchildren: Milly Ardoin, Ava Catoire, Dalton Catoire, Camille Landry, Zac Lee, Hunter Lee, Drake Lee and Alivia Lee.
Beverly will now reunite in Heaven with her son, Ted Ardoin.
At the request of the Ardoin family, a visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 5 PM until 9 PM and will reopen on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be recited in Mrs. Ardoin's honor Tuesday evening at 6 PM.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte.
