VILLE PLATTE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Annette Manuel Lafleur at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte, LA followed by interment at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Annette Manuel Lafleur is someone that everyone feels that they have a special place in their heart for, because she truly was special. She lived a life dedicated to her husband, sons, family and countless friends. Annette was an enthusiast of food, drink, music, and fun. She loved cooking, camping, and spending time with friends and family. Rarely seen without a smile, she brought abundant joy to those around her.
Annette is survived by her mother; Loretta Manuel of Ville Platte; husband of 29 years, Brian Lafleur of Carencro; two sons, Cory Lafleur and fiancé, Nicole Phillips of Lafayette, and Dylan Lafleur of Carencro; a sister and a brother, Phyilis Daigle of Silsbee, TX, and Eric Manuel and wife, Angie Manuel of Pine Prairie; father and mother-in-law, Vernal and Janell Lafleur of Grand Prairie; brothers and sisters-in-law, Darin and Debbie Lafleur of Grand Prairie and Scott and Tiffany Lafleur of Pine Prairie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, Charles Manuel of Ville Platte; grandparents Edward and Evelyn Soileau, and Cleveland and Evanus Manuel; and brother-in-law Larry Daigle of Silsbee, TX.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 3:00 - 9:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
