VILLE PLATTE - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Yvette Soileau announces her passing on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the age of 52. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 2, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal will take place in the St. Ann's Cemetery in Mamou with Fr. Jason Vidrine, celebrant.
A loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend, Yvette leaves behind her loving husband of 34 years Todd Soileau of Ville Platte, father Bob Lane Guillory of Vidrine, one son Samuel "Sammy" Soileau and wife Ashley Decoux Soileau of Pearland, Texas, one daughter Amelia Soileau Bourque and husband Chad of Port Barre, two brothers Mark Lane Guillory and wife Davlon of Vidrine and Eric Paul Guillory of Easton and mother-in-law Ora Ella Soileau of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her four grandchildren who were the light of her life: Wesley Joseph Soileau, Audrey Marie Soileau, Lane Michael Bourque, and Caroline Claire Bourque.
She now rests in Heaven with her mother Betty Ann Guillory and father-in-law Joseph Calvin Soileau.
At the request of the Soileau family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and again on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited in her honor on Sunday evening at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the Soileau family will accept donations in memory of Yvette.
