VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Winston Fontenot, 88 announce his passing on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 9:50 pm at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum in Mamou with Father Mitchell Guidry as Celebrant.
Winston will be greatly missed by his daughterinlaw, Karen Buller Fontenot of Ville Platte five grandchildren, Grant, Jennifer, Brad, Victoria and Colleen Fontenot all of Ville Platte.
Winston will now reunite in Heaven with his wife, Ettavee Smith Fontenot, his parents,
Jean B. Fontenot and Evela Duos Fontenot, one son, John David Fontenot, one sister, Grace Fontenot Ardoin and a brother, Nelson Fontenot. Their reunion will surely be a joyous one.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Sunday.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sacred Heart School Foundation in memory of Winston Fontenot.
