Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Velma Fontenot, 84 announces her passing on Friday, June 4, 2010 at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital in Lafayette.
A loving mother and grandmother, Velma will be lovingly remembered by her son, Harry J. Fontenot, Jr. of Lafayette daughter, Lana Henderson of Youngsville, and her grandson, Joshua Henderson of Youngsville.
She now rest in Heaven with her beloved husband, Harry J. Fontenot, Sr., and her parents, Ulysse and Florence Berzas.
