Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Tom Prudhomme, Sr., 82 announces his passing on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Ville Platte Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery with Fr. Mario Romero Celebrant.

A loving father, grandfather, greatgrandfather, and brother, Tom will be lovingly remembered by one son, Tom Prudhomme, Jr. and wife, Faye of Ville Platte; two daughters, Debbie P. Bourque and husband, Donald and Pamela P. Ortego and husband, Steven both of Ville Platte; two brothers, Clifton Prudhomme of Swords and Rodney Prudhomme of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Lelia Dupre and Iris Aguillard both of Eunice; eight grandchildren, one step grandchild, and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gurcie F. Prudhomme; a son, Richard Flynn Prudhomme; and his parents, William and Orphize Prudhomme.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
