Tammy Fontenot

Tammy Sue Fontenot, 54, of Ville Platte passed away on December 19, 2022, at her residence surrounded by family and friends. She was born May 4, 1968, in Ismir, Turkey to the late Benny Brant and Nola Jane Kingery. Tammy enjoyed fishing, swimming, and arts and craft. She had a passion for animals. Tammy’s family was one of her most precious treasures and she cherished time spent with her granddaughter, Amelia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benny Brant; partner, Steve Vonlanken; and sister, Cindy Lamb.

Survivors include her sons, Hayden Fontenot, his wife, Cassie and Corey Fontenot; mother, Nola Jane Lindblom, granddaughter, Amelia Fontenot; brother, Jeffery Brant and special friends, Connie Matthews, Kathy Gypin, Alicia Ortego and Darrel Ortego.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte.

A Private Graveside service will be held.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Reacher Hospital or MD Anderson Cancer Center.
