Ville PlatteIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the death of their beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Ruby T. Fontenot on Sunday, October 07, 2012 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home at the age of 93. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park with Father Joshua Guillory Celebrant.

Ruby was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Janice Guillory and husband, J.R. of Pine Prairie and Renee Vidrine and husband, Dr. Steven of Ville Platte one sister, Emily Ardoin of Alexandria nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Noah Fontenot son, Jason Fontenot two brothers, Harry and Leroy Fontenot and a sister, Effie Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, October 8th from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Tuesday, October 9th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Eugene LeBoeuf will recite a rosary at 6:30 pm Monday evening.
