Rodney Buller

VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services will be held at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Friday, July 12, 2019 for Rodney Arcade Buller, 90, who passed away on July 10, 2019 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie, LA.

Father Mitch Guidry, pastor of Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct funeral service.

Burial will take place in Te Mamou Cemetery.

Rodney Arcade Buller was born in Ville Platte, LA on November 4, 1928 to Wallace and Rosanna Vidrine Buller. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his daughters, Sarah Buller Attales of Pine Prairie and Gwendolyn Marie Buller of Lafayette; sons, Charles K. Buller of Bayou Chicot and Benjamin J. Buller and wife Yvette of Ville Platte; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosa Buller; 3 sisters; and one brother.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be recited on Thursday at 6:30 PM by Father Richard Vidrine.  Visitation will resume on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
