Ville Platte Funeral services for Mr. Richard Fontenot, 65, will be held Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 2 p.m. in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery. Fr. Romero will officiate the services.

Mr. Fontenot, a native and a resident of Ville Platte, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008.

A loving father, grandfather, and brother he is survived by one son, Tyrone Fontenot of Ville Platte; two daughters, Mrs. Cary Rachael Fontenot Lee of Ville Platte and Mrs. Jimmy Shelly Fontenot Fontenot of Sugarland, Tx.; one brother, Larry Lloyd Fontenot of DeQuincy; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 11 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
