Nicholas Paul Ardoin

Ville Platte – It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nicholas Paul Ardoin on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the age of 39. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Chataignier, LA. Father Tom Voorhies will be celebrant over the services.

Nick is survived by his mom, Cynthia Hooper; his father, Robert Ardoin of Cottonport, LA; his son, Dylan Broadus and fiancé, Morgan Albright of Texas; his daughter, Kyra Jolie Ardoin of Texas; his grandmother, Ethel Fontenot of Ville Platte; his biological mother, Mathilda Thibodeaux and spouse, John Douget of Mamou; his sister, Jessica Charlot and husband, Tyrone Charlot of Eunice; his brother, Ryan Blanchard of Eunice; and his sister, Tina Wieler of Florida. He will also be missed by his four nieces, one nephew, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is proceeded in death by his grandfather, Joseph G. Fontenot, his brother, Coby Thibodeaux; his sister, Tonya Delafosse of Pine Prairie and his biological father, Anthony Thibodeaux.

At the request of the family, a visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Saturday, July 13, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am with a Rosary being recited at 12:15 pm.
