Michael Grant Dardeau

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, September 14, 2023, for Michael Grant Dardeau, 64, who passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in Ville Platte, Louisiana.

Shawn Fontenot, Associate Pastor of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, will conduct the funeral services.

Michael was born in Ville Platte, Louisiana on December 12, 1958, to Edward Dardeau and Loisie Richard Fontenot.  He is survived by mother, Loisie R. Fontenot of Ville Platte, Louisiana; two siblings, Sherrel Dardeau Box (Ken Box) of Homer, Louisiana, and Keith Dardeau (Jessica Dardeau) of Ville Platte, Louisiana. Despite the challenges he faced in life he enjoyed it to its fullest. There was nothing that a "Little Debbie Nutty " and an Iced Tea couldn't fix.  Michael also enjoyed visiting with family and friends and making wood crafts.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Norris Dardeau; grandparents, Rita, and Rene Dardeau; Stella and Eurick Richard.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM.  Visitation will continue after services until 1:00 PM.
