Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lejeune Schexsnayder, 81, will be held Friday, November 3, 2006 at 1:30pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park. Fr. Richard Broussard will officiate the services.
Mrs. Schexsnayder, a resident of Pine Prairie and a native of Ville Platte, died Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 1:15am in Prairie Manor Nursing Home.
Survivors include her husband, John Schexsnayder of Pine Prairie; a son, Bob Lejeune and his partner, Joe of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Patsy Fontenot and her husband, Donald of Pine Prairie; a sister, Isabelle Lavergne of Ville Platte; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursdsay, November 2, 2006 from 4pm until 10pm and on Friday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm Thursday.
