VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Marjorie F. Ardoin, 76, announces her passing on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the M. B. Fontenot Cemetery.
Marjorie retired from Ville Platte Medical Center after 46 years of service in the business office. She also served as a CCD teacher for Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Churchs CCD program.
A loving mother, sister, and aunt, Marjorie leaves behind her son Blake Ardoin of Ville Platte and her brother Ronald Fontenot of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews.
She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband Delouis Joe Ardoin, her parents Edles and Marie OConnor Fontenot and her sister Cavel Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 1:00 9:00 PM and again on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be prayed in her honor Monday evening at 7:00 PM.
