Marcus Neil Reviere
It is with both sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of Marcus Neil Reviere, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left this world on February 10, 2026, in Ville Platte, Louisiana. While we are heartbroken, we find comfort in knowing that he is finally at rest and no longer suffering. Services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte, Officiated by Toby Delahoussaye.
Born in Eunice, Louisiana, on September 8, 1957, Marcus was a man whose laughter echoed through the hearts of those around him and whose spirit shone brightly in every moment of his life. He was truly one of a kind. He gave the best hugs, loved his family and never hesitated to tell you that he loved you. He was never afraid to dance anywhere, anytime. He had the hardest head but was very loving and caring. He was very passionate about the oilfield and about Chevrolets and could go on and on about both. His favorite people in the world were his grandchildren who lovingly knew him as “Booboo.” He served as an Altar Server beginning at the age of 9 and served for several years. Marcus was a proud honor roll student and later in life dedicated much of his professional time to the oil and gas industry as a rig operator. He approached each day with determination and resilience, embodying the values of hard work and commitment. His colleagues knew him as a dependable team member and a loyal friend. To those who loved him, Marcus was a joyful presence, celebrated for his warm heart and generous nature. He cherished his family deeply and is survived by his beloved wife, Eva Reveire, who stood by him through life's many ups and downs. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and laughter, remembered fondly by His Children, Scott Reviere (Shannon), Rhonda Deshotels (Karl), Jacob Soileau (Jade), His Grandchildren Blake Delahoussaye (McKenzie), Shelby Dekerlegand (Ashton), Christian Lafleur (Kyle), Shaylin Hale (Haven), Hunter Soileau (Marissa), Harley Soileau (Ignacio), Riley Soileau, Max Reviere, Ian Reviere, Kelsey Deshotels (Derek), Gannon Deshotels (Kelli), Great Grandchildren, Leah Delahoussaye, Colt Delahoussaye, Ellie Mae Dekerlegand, Avery Lafleur, Jason Lafleur, Jillian Lafleur, Lydia Hale, Siblings, Joan Reviere and Jeanine Marcentel. He was preceded in death by his father, Horace John Reviere, His Mother, Viola Reviere and Brynn Reviere.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte beginning at 9:00 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 11am, Service to immediately follow. Burial will be held in private.
