Louella Pitre

Lou Ella Pitre, 97, of Lafayette, LA, sadly left us on Sunday, February 11, 2024, following rapidly declining heart failure. She was a dear mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin, and friend. She spent her life pouring herself out for others. She was very loved and is greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Adeol Fuselier, mother, Leontine Fuselier, nee Manual, brother Lee, husband Dallas, daughter Alida, and son Louis. She leaves behind her sons, Felix, Richard, Dallas, Eric, and David; grandchildren Julia, Anissa, Andrew, Joshua, Heather, Haley, Douglass, Alida, Erica, Shawn, Kevin, Jessica, Jonathan, Gabriel, Benjamin, Katherine, and 16 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11;00 AM. A Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Thursday, February 15, 2024, beginning at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 8:00 AM until time of service.
