Ville Platte - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 for Loretta Brown at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Tom Voorhies will officiate the service. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m Monday, November 28, 2016.

Ms. Loretta Brown, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away on November 24, 2016 at the age of 76.

The family requests that visitation be held from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016. It will resume at 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.

Loretta leaves behind to cherish her memories a daughter, Betty Vidrine ; sons, Kerney and his wife Chris Brown and Fredrick and his wife Monique Brown; brother, Arthur and his wife Vera Guillory; grandchildren, Thomas, Jessica, Jamie, Courtney, Alex, Matthew, Tanya and Cody; and great-grandchildren, Macy, Carson, Kalli and Ashton.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Duse Brown; daughter, Emma Joy Deville; and parents, Aldes and Lula Guillory.
