VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Leola Vidrine, 90, announces her passing on Saturday, September 13, 2014. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Belaire Cove Mausoleum.

A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, Leola leaves behind her son Tony Dougia and companion Craig Kysar of Walker, four daughters Sue Melin and husband Richard of Walker, Cindy Menier and companion Cheryl Simon of Lafayette, Janice Monier and husband Cecil of Reddell, and Tammie Fruge and husband Keith of Duralde, and one sister Leanna Vizina and husband Roland of Houston. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 17 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
