Laura Lee Vidrine

VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services for Laura Lee Vidrine will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery.  Laura passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the age of 45. 

Laura Lee Vidrine was born in Ville Platte, Louisiana on January 30, 1978 to Buford Lee Vidrine and Shirley Guillory Vidrine.  Laura worked hard caring for her family and making sure her two boys grew up in a loving home.  When time allowed, Laura enjoyed watching horror movies.  This special lady will be greatly missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Laura is survived by her two sons, Justin Thompson and Rustin Vidrine (Logan Thompson); parents, Buford Vidrine and Shirley Guillory Vidrine; two brothers, Christopher Vidrine (Kayla) and Ricky Vidrine (Megan); and aunt, Tammy Fontenot (Kelly).

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Buford and Cleo Vidrine and maternal grandparents, Shirley and Mable Guillory.

Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 beginning at 8:00 AM until time of service.  A rosary will be prayed in her honor on Monday evening at 6:00 PM.

Pallbearers for the service are:  Rustin Vidrine, Brock Deville, Heath Elliott, Justin Thompson, Ricky Vidrine, and Caleb Castille.
