Kasey Thomas

VILLE PLATTE – Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Infant Kasey Monique passed away Monday, October 3, 2022. Kasey was born on September 26, 2022, to Katie Thomas and Wesley Edwards. Although her life was short here on Earth, her presence with her parents and her family will forever be in their hearts.

Kasey leaves to cherish her memories, her loving mommy, Katie Thomas; her daddy, Wesley Edwards; half-brothers, Wesley Edwards, Jr. and Malcolm Edwards; half-sister, Patricia Edwards; great-grandfather, Earl Fontenot; grandparents, Annie Fontenot and Melvin Young; paternal grandmother, Margaret Gallow; aunt, Nicole Thomas; uncle, Christopher Fontenot and Hunter Robinson; and her Mimi, Leona Attle.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jeran Thomas; step grandfather, LeRoy Gallow, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Russell Edwards, Jr.; and great-grandfather, Leroy Gallow, Sr.

A service will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2022, with Father Mitch Guidry, officiating.  A visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services. Burial will take place at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.
