Le; Genise Dupre; Tina Touchet and her husband, Randy; and Roxanne Prejean and Kelly; and his sons, Shane Fontenot and his wife, Tennille; Aaron and his wife, Keeley; Jessie Love Fontenot; and Chaz Fontenot and his wife, Logan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kerigan, Joey, Aaron, Noah, LilAaron, Daniel, Joey, Lindon, Randi Lynn, Ava, Mark, Kelsey, and Jai’da; more than ten great-grandchildren; and his brother, Mitch Veillon.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Fontenot of Evangeline Parish and Adeline Ortego Veillon of Ville Platte; his brothers, Milas Fontenot, his sister, Virginia Faye Fontenot; his wife, Ann Fontenot; and his son-in-law, Derrick Dupre.
