Funeral services for Joseph Jean Fontenot, 50, will be held Monday, January 29, 2007 at 2 pm at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park. Fr. Gene Tremie will officiate the services.

Joseph J. Fontenot, a resident of Ville Platte, died Friday, January 26, 2007 at his residence. Joe Feen was a surveyor for Acadian Engineers and Environmental Consultants.

Survivors include his two brothers, BeverlyBevy Fontenot and wife, Gayle, and Herbert Butch Fontenot and wife, Stephanie, both of Ville Platte; one sister, Barbara CorCoran and husband, Mack, of Bogalusa; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lula Fontenot and a brother Deral Fontenot.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 from 8 am until time of services.
