James Fontenot, Sr.

VILLE PLATTE The family of James Irving Fontenot, Sr., 72, is greatly saddened to announce the death of their beloved patriarch. James passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospital of Bossier City. His life will be celebrated during a Graveside Memorial Service at Vandenburg Cemetery of Bayou Chicot at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 8, 2014.

Precious memories of him will forever remain in the hearts of his beloved children: James I. Fontenot, Jr. of Eugene, OR., Kathy M. Fontenot, also of Eugene, OR., Tricia A. Fontenot of California and Tina F. Castleberry of Bossier City. James was blessed with five grandchildren and further blessed with four greatgrandchildren, they were his pride and joy. Also left behind to mourn, his siblings: Michael Steve Fontenot and Bonnie Fontenot, both of Ville Platte.

He will now rest in Heaven alongside his dear wife, Sherry Nell Ray, his parents, Shirley and Rena Smith Fontenot and a sister, Louella Ann Fontenot. Their reunion will surely be a joyous occasion.
