VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of James Big Brian Deville, 46, announces his passing on Sunday, August 04, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, August 5, 2013 immediately following a 7:00 PM rosary.
Brian had a love for children and baseball. For many years, he served as an umpire for the Ville Platte Summer League Baseball program. A loving brother and uncle, Brians memory will be cherished by his brother Steven G. Deville and wife Brandy of Ville Platte, his sister Renee Deville and husband James Theriot of Sorrento, La., and his nieces and nephews: Lauren Deville, Cy Deville, Tylor Theriot, and Dillon Theriot.
He now rests with his parents James Roland and Barbara Deville.
At the request of the Deville family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, August 5, 2013. Funeral home will remain open all night with visitation beginning at 3:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed in his honor Monday evening at 7:00 PM which will be immediately followed by funeral services.
