Ville Platte Funeral services for Hilda Mary Dardeau, 69, will be held Friday, November 30, 2007 at 1:30pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery in Duralde. Fr. Josh Guillory will officiate the services.

Ms. Dardeau, a resident of Ville Platte, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 8:28am in Savoy Medical Center.

Survivors include one son, Steve Brent Dardeau, Sr. and wife, Jennifer of Duralde; two daughters, Shelia Fontenot of Ville Platte and Christine Dardeau Bertrand of Mamou; four brothers, Elvin Joubert of New Iberia, Nolan Joubert of Lawtell, Roland Joubert of Point Blue, and Jim Joubert of Plaisance; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Malcolm Paul Dardeau; parents, Melancon and Vivian Joubert, and a grandson, Julian Adam Bertrand.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2007 from 10am until 10pm and on Friday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm Thursday.
