Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Vidrine, 65 annouces her passing on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery with Fr. Mario Romero Celebrant.

A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her son, Randy Vidrine and his wife, Penny of Ville Platte; one brother, Joseph J.Y. Fontenot and wife, Norma of Ville Platte; one sister, Bernadine McMillian and husband, Gene of Ville Platte; and one step grandchild, Ashley Bergeron.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Ellis Vidrine; parents, Poulite and Genevieve Fontenot; and two brothers, Hubert Fontenot and Herbert Fontenot.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, December 21, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again of Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday evening.
