Ville PlatteIt is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Vidrine, 74 announces her passing on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Opelousas General Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at12:00 pm on Monday,April 15, 2013 at Our Lady Queen Of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the M.B. Cemetery with Father Mitchell Guidry as Celebrant.
A loving mother, sister, grandmother, greatgrandmother and friend, Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Steven Vidrine and wife Melissa of Tate Cove, La, Gayle Comeaux and husband, Dale of Ville Platte,La and Pamela Fontenot and husband Michael of Ville Platte, La two brothers, Dennis R. West of Georgia and James Ruffin West of Pine Prairie
Seven sisters, Shirlene West Ortego of Pine Prairie, Lucille Sonnier Bertrand of Lake Charles, Theresa West Cormier of Las Meg, La, Rebecca West Ordner of Pine Prairie, Jeanetta West Vidrine of Pine Prairie, La and Diana Kay Ardoin of Mamou, La and Roxanne Deshotel of Mamoueight grandchildren, Christopher Comeaux, Jeremy Comeaux, Elizabeth Vidrine, Alex Fontenot, Lorrie Comeaux, Brandon Vidrine, Abby Comeaux, and Benjamin Vidrine six greatgrandchildren, Areonna Pierce, Harlee Fontenot, Hunter Comeaux, Kaleb Taffi, Wesley Vidrine, and Landon Comeaux. She now rest in Heaven with her beloved husband, Delvin Vidrine her parents, Roy and Magaret Fontenot West.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Sunday, April 14, 2012 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm, and again Monday, April 15, 2013 from 5:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Sunday evening.
