Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Genieve Elliott, 78 announces her passing on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in Trinity Baptist Church in Turkey Creek. Rite of Committal will follow in the Addison Johnson Cemetery with Brothers Dillard Fontenot and Ervin Goodman officiating.
A loving mother and grandmother, Genieve Elliott will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Willis Brent Elliott of Turkey Creek, Billy Roger Elliott of Turkey Creek, and Jerry Craig Elliott of Deville, La, her daughters, Deborah Elliott Tatman and husband Tad of Eunice, Carliss Elliott Messer and husband Carl of Turkey Creek, and Bridgett Yvette Elliott of Turkey Creek, La, and 16 grandchildren.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
