VILLE PLATTE It is with immense sadness and the heaviest of hearts that the family of infant Gavin Paul Manuel announces his passing from this world to the next. Gavin was called home on Thursday, April 17, 2014 his devoted family mourns their loss but the angels surely rejoice in their fate. His life will be celebrated during a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church of Ville Platte with Rite of Committal to follow in St. Peters Catholic Cemetery of Pine Prairie Father Mitchell Guidry will officiate.
Gavins memory will forever remain in the hearts of his loving family: his dedicated mother, Ashley Brooke Manuel of Pine Prairie, his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Manuel of Pine Prairie, his Godmother, Jamie Harrington and her husband, Dustin of Pine Prairie, his Godfather Matt Manuel of Pine Prairie, his uncle, Josh Manuel and fianc, Kayla Doucette of Bayou Chicot and his cousins, Madison Harrington and River Manuel.
He will now join his maternal grandmother, Rebecca Manuel, in Heaven. She awaits his arrival with open arms and a joyous heart, anxious to embrace her precious grandson.
At the request of the Manuel family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 23, 2014 and will continue until 9:00 PM that evening and again Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 8:00 AM until the time of the service. A Rosary will be recited in Gavins name Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM.
