RICHARD - Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 AM at North Eunice Baptist Church in Eunice on Saturday, September 15, 2018, for Florence Nell Long Johnston, 65, who passed away on September 13, 2018 in Richard, LA.

Nell loved God and knew Him. She was the backbone of her family. She instilled Biblical values in her children and grandchildren.

Nell was a kind, affectionate, self-sacrificial person. She placed others in front of herself all her life. She was hard working and excelled as an accountant most of her professional career.

She is survived by her three sons, Brian Johnston and wife Naomi, Billy Johnston and wife Sara, and Bobby Johnston and wife Millie; two brothers, Terry Guidry and Bobby Mills; two sisters, Rose Marie Daigle and Jane Harrison; fiancé, Glenn Aguillard, and nine grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Johnston and her parents, John Long and Rose Guidry Long.

Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, LA.

The family requests that visitation be observed at North Eunice Baptist Church from 2:00 PM on Friday, September 14, 2018 until service time at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
