Funeral services for Mr. Ferdinand Dupre, 72, will be held Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 4pm in St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Burial will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery. Fr. Richard Broussard will officiate the services.

Mr. Dupre, a native of Plasiance and a resident of Pine Prairie, died Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 10:25pm in Savoy Medical Center.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 06, 2006 from 3pm until 10pm at the funeral home and on Thursday, 9am until time of services in St. Peters Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Wednesday.

Mr. Dupre is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Deville Dupre of Pine Prairie; a son, David Scott Dupre wife, Rebecca Sue of Easton; a daughter, Tammy Dupre Lamke husband, Kent; two sisters, Icy Brown of Ville Platte and Claudia Soileau of Tate Cove; and four grandchildren, Justin Lamke, Zachary Lamke, Brandon Ortego, and Courtney Dupre.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Brown and a nephew, R.D. Brown.
