Ville Platte - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 for Mrs. Ethel D. Guillory at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Father Kenneth Mayne will officiate the services. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum.

Mrs. Ethel D. Guillory, age 90 and a resident of Pine Prairie, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 surrounded by her family.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017. It will reopen at 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday, February 13, 2017. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

She is survived by her sons, Terryl Guillory and wife Debbie and Ricky Guillory and wife Ginger; daughter, Cassandra Guillory and husband Nolan; sister, Laura Carraway and husband Carl; sister-in-law, Theresa Deshotel; brother-in-law, Rudy Laborde; grandchildren, Kelly, Amber, Garrick, Lacy, Ashley and Kevin; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hersey Guillory; parents, George and Odelia Deshotel; sons, Larry Guillory and Gerald Guillory; grandchildren, Quentin Guillory, Julie and Judith Lanthier; brother, Rodney Deshotel; and sister, Beverly Laborde.
