VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness to announce that Esther Soileau, age 99, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Matthew Bazarre, celebrant.
Ms. Soileau will be greatly missed by her longtime caregiver, Wanda Fontenot of Ville Platte, but will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, Horace Harris Soileau and son, Ray Fontenot.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 8 AM until time of services at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte. A rosary will be prayed in Ms. Soileau's honor at 12:30 PM.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte, La.
