Enola F. Perrodin

A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Enola F. Perrodin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Ville Platte. Burial will follow at the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.

Enola passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, in Lafayette. She was born on April 3, 1929, in Ville Platte to Moise Fontenot and Ada Soileau Fontenot. For 32 years, Enola worked as a hairdresser at her home and nursing home. She and her husband, Junior, took pride in growing a big vegetable garden, and she was known for being a great cook, baking delicious pies and cakes. She also enjoyed her vacation getaways to Galveston, Texas. Enola adored her husband of 67 years, and they spent many happy moments camping, dancing together, and entertaining at their home. She also had great love for her grandchildren and is remembered as being a wonderful mom.

Enola is survived by: her daughter, Anne Winkler and husband, David, of Charleston, South Carolina; her son, Timothy Perrodin, of Opelousas; daughter in law, Lorraine Perrodin; grandchildren, Mandy Roy of Milton, Guy Perrodin of Ville Platte, Geoffrey Winkler of Pensacola, Florida, Sam Winkler of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and Jeniffer Wikler of Daniel Island, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Moise and Ada Fontenot; her husband, J.H. Perrodin, Jr.; her sons, Ebby, David, and Malcolm Perrodin; and daughter in law, Lisa Perrodin.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM-1:30 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte. A rosary will be recited at 1:00 PM.
