VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte on Thursday, March 08, 2018, for Elverlis "Blonde" Guillory, 86, who passed away on Sunday, March 04, 2018 in Ville Platte, LA.

Brother David Plunkett, pastor of Sanctuary of Praise, will conduct the funeral services.

Entombment will take place in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Ville Platte, LA.

Elverlis "Blonde" Guillory was born in Mamou, LA. on August 11, 1931 to Dalbes and Bartile Ardoin Naquin.

She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Deville Ortego and husband, Edward of Pine Prairie; eight grandchildren; Shellie Ramsey, Nicole Deville, Shantel Vidrine, Natalie Paulk, Jacob Deville, Ashley Snyder, John Claude Fontenot and Joshua Fontenot; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death her parents, Dalbes and Bartile Ardoin Naquin; her husband, Claude Guillory; two sons, Gerald Wayne Deville and John Roland Fontenot; one brother, Roylis Naquin; and one sister, Cherry LaCombe.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, March 07, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
