Ville Platte A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Mrs. Elizabeth S. Ledoux, 76, at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 28, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church . Burial will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery in Grand Prairie with The Reverend Father Gene Tremie Celebrant.

Mrs. Ledoux, a resident of Ville Platte, died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the Ville Platte Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always had open arms and an open heart.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Aaron Bailey of Ville Platte; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Bailey Pitre and her husband L.J. of Ville Platte, Yvette Rice and her husband Bob of LeCompt; nine grandchildren, Joseph, Wendy and Scotty Pitre, Christie Noel, Susan Lanclose, Tracy and John Lauterbach, Christopher Aaron Reed and Victoria Lanclose; sixteen great-grandchildren and a very special friend Tracy Laughrey.

Mrs. Ledoux was preceded in death by her husbands, James Aaron Doodlebug Bailey and Joseph Rayburn Ledoux as well as a son, James Keith Bailey.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 27, 2007 from 12pm until 9pm and on Monday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Sunday.
