Ville Platte A Mass of Christian Burial for Edna A. Walsworth, 90, will be Celebrated at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Fr. Gene Tremie officiating the services.

Mrs. Walsworth, a resident of Ville Platte, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at her residence.

A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, she is survived her son, Ronald Saucier and wife, Perri of Kenner; her three daughters, Juanetta S. Reed and husband, Adam of Ville Platte, Juanita S. Verret and husband, Floyd of Morgan City, and Judy W. LaFleur of Ville Platte; two sisters, Lelma A. Lafosse and Marie A. P.Z. Fontenot, both of Ville Platte; fifteen grandchildren; forty-three great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren

She is preceded in death by parents, Paul Dejean Ardoin and Amelia Fontenot; her husband, Ellis Walsworth; an infant daughter, Betty Nell Saucier; four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Monday, August 18, 2008 from 8 a.m. until services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
