VILLE PLATTEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Donald Louis Fontenot on Tuesday, April 09, 2013 at his residence. He was 64. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:30 am on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the M.B Fontenot Cemetery with Father Garrett McIntyre celebrant.

He will forever be loved and missed by everyone whose hearts he touched especially his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Fontenot of Ville Platte two sons, Kelly Fontenot and wife, Tammy of Reddell and Mark Fontenot and wife, Wendy of Pine Prairie daughter, Pamela Fontenot and husband, Jason of Pine Prairie two brothers, Turling B. Fontenot of Ville Platte and Raymond Fontenot of Longville sister, Helen Fontenot Soileau of Lake Charles thirteen grandchildren, Stephanie, Kimberly, Jacob, Brittany, Joshua, Hannah, Aliona, Tiffany, Jason Jr., Brandon, Daniel, Angel, and Kristen and three great grandchildren, Trevor, Valerie, and Gabrielle.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, Amalker and Olive Vidrine Fontenot and brothers, Steve Fontenot, Hurling Fontenot, and Jimmy Fontenot.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm until time of services on Friday, April 12, 2013. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm Thursday evening.
