David Lafleur

VILLE PLATTE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Saturday, January 26, 2019 for David Nelson Lafleur, 59, who passed away on January 17, 2019 in Lafayette, LA surrounded by his loved ones.

Father Tom Voorhies, pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass.

Burial will take place in B.J. Fontenot Cemetery in Ville Platte.

David Nelson Lafleur was born on June 29, 1959 in Lafayette, LA to Nelson and Pearl Bordelon Lafleur. He was a lifelong resident of Mamou, LA.

He is survived by his son, Chuckie Lafleur and wife Meagan of Ville Platte; daughter, Kristin McBride and husband Chris of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Audrey Ortego, Collin Lafleur, Cooper Lafleur, Charley-Kate Lafleur, Graham McBride and Molly-Kate McBride; and sisters, Cathy Lafleur Roberie, Ella Vine Prudhomme, and Nelta Gale Lafleur.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Pearl Lafleur.
