Ville Platte - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Curtis L. Clark, 80, announces his passing on November 15, 2016. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Peters Church Cemetery with Father Kenny Mayne celebrant.

Curtis was an active member of St. Edmonds Catholic Church in Lafayette. He was the owner and operator of Clark's Refrigeration for 30 years in Lafayette, Louisiana. Curtis loved gardening, fishing and spending time working on old cars with his two sons. He was an amazing husband, father, grand-father and friend. Curtis took great pride in his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family which includes two sons, Dr. Roderick Clark and wife Dr. Tina of Lafayette and Vince Clark of Jennings; four grandchildren who he greatly loved and adored, Christopher Clark, Cassie Clark, Chase Clark, and Ava Clark; sisters-in-law, Nell Soileau and husband Nolan and Janet Thibodeaux and husband Harold; brothers-in-law, Samuel Leger and wife Cheryl and Stanley Leger and wife Perline; niece, Cathy Clark.

Curtis now rests in Heaven with his devoted wife who he cherished of 58 years, Doris Leger Clark; parents, Evelton and Ivy Johnson Clark; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Horace and Beulah Mae Leger; and brother, Ray Clark.

At the request of the Clark family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
