Carol Ann Guidry Veillon, a beloved mother, grandmother, and faithful woman of God, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Pine Prairie, Louisiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Father Casey Dugas officiating services.

Carol was born on Thursday, February 13, 1941, in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She was a homemaker whose life was centered on caring for those she loved most. She was known as a caring and loving person, a devoted Catholic, and someone blessed with a good sense of humor. Loved by everyone who knew her, she made her home a welcoming place where all felt received and at ease.

Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. Carol was a parishioner of Sacred Heart and belonged to Come Lord Jesus. She taught her children about Jesus and gave them an example of devotion through the way she lived each day. Sundays were especially dear to her, and she treasured going to church with her boys and then sharing lunch together afterward.

Among the greatest joys of her life were raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren. She loved her family deeply, and that love was felt in the warmth, care, and generosity she gave so freely. She also enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including her love of sweets, which brought a smile to her face.

Carol will be remembered for her loving heart, her steadfast faith, her welcoming spirit, and the joy she found in family. Her life leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Carol is survived by her sons, Todd Veillon (Vicki) and Kyle Veillon (Gladys Lavergne); 7 grandchildren, Amie Ortego (Josh), Jordy Veillon (Dana), Jessica Johnson (Marcus), Chelsie Soileau (Chad), Marcus Veillon (Breanne), Ross Veillon (Chelsea), and John Veillon (Carsen); 21 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles Lindsey Veillon; parents, Maxwell Jerome and Mary Joyce Manuel Guidry; son, Timothy Veillon; brother, Francis Gene Guidry; sister, Tanya Guidry Durand; and great grandchildren, Sydney Soileau, Lilah Grace Veillon, and Lucia Faith Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
