Bobbie Jo Ardoin

Bobbie Jo Ardoin, 80, of Easton, Louisiana, entered into eternal rest on May 20, 2026. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Pine Prairie at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Burial will follow in Ardoin's cemetery, with Father Casey Dugas as Celebrant. 

Born September 6, 1945, Bobbie Jo was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend to many. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and talented seamstress, sharing her creativity and care through every stitch she made. She found joy in reading, sewing, spending time with friends and family, and creating a warm and welcoming home for those she loved. 

Bobbie Jo is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Bobby G. Ardoin; her daughters, Dawnyna McDaniel (Bryan) and Balinda McCallum (Chris); and her son, Keven Ardoin; her grandchildren, Kayla McDaniel, Lindsie Russell, Marlee Boone, and Keilan McCallum. Her great-grandchildren, Talon, Ahnalee, Genevieve, Nash, Ashton, Ren, Dean, LeVian, and Ammeralla. She leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Layne Ardoin, and her daughter, Fonda Gale Ardoin. Her mother, Barbara Ardoin, and father, Joel V. Ardoin. As well as her two brothers, Joel Ardoin and Robert Ardoin. 

Visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 9 AM until 8 PM, and again on Saturday, May 23, from 8 AM until the time of services.  

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Bryan McDaniel, Keven Ardoin, Blake Boone, Chris McCallum, Bryan Russell, and Talon Ardoin.
