Billy Joe Foreman

Billy Joe Foreman, a beloved resident of the Ville Platte community, passed away in his hometown of Ville Platte on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the age of 49. Billy was born on Thursday, August 14, 1975, in Pineville, Louisiana and his friendly disposition and passion for connecting with others made him a cherished friend, son, and brother.

Billy's interests were as vibrant as his personality. He had a particular love for raising parrots and parakeets, delighting in teaching them to talk, which showed his affectionate nature and provided countless hours of joy to those around him. He found pleasure in visiting with friends and often enjoyed watching classic old westerns.

Billy is survived by his devoted mother, Mable Hebert Foreman; his brother, Shanendoah "Bugger" Foreman; his son, Trey Coker (Paige); two grandchildren; a nephew, Leslie Anthony Foreman (Heidi); and numerous extended family and friends who will carry his memory forward.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, Leslie "Bear" Foreman, Jr., and his brother, John “Bubba” Foreman.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte, Louisiana. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM, with burial to take place at Turkey Creek Cemetery at 5:00 PM. Rev. Kevin West will officiate services.

Billy Joe Foreman's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a man who embraced life and friendship, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.
