Ville Platte- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Betty V. Fontenot, 71, on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, at 3:30 P.M. Burial will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery in Grand Prairie, La.

Ms. Fontenot, a resident of Mamou, died on March 3, 2008 at Savoy Medical Center at 3:15 A.M.

She is Survived by her loving Companion, Gerald Gaspard, of Mamou,La; one son, Mickey Fontenot and his wife, Cindy, of Ville Platte, La; two daughters, Jackie LaLonde and her husband, Ricky of Prairie Ronde, and Liz Aucoin and her husband, Kevin, of Lanse Meg, La; one brother, Leroy Vidrine and his wife, Dessie, of Texas; two sisters, Lou Andrus and husband Adolph of Port Barre, La Dean Wilson, and husband Willie, of Washington, La; six grandchildren, Kevin LaLonde, Ricky LaLonde, Jr. Misty Brown, Joe Brown, Alaina Fontenot, Zackary Fontenot. Three great-grandchildren .

Ms. Betty, was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence TOO TOO J. Fontenot, one Infant son, Joseph Fontenot, and her parents, Beatrice Vidrine Ned Vidrine, and a brother Pershing Vidrine.

Visitation will begin at. 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2008 until time of services on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.
