VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Anita Marie Soileau, 83, announces her passing on Sunday, September 08, 2013 at Opelousas General Health System. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Peters Catholic Church in Grand Prairie. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Peters cemetery with Fr. Clement officiating services.
A loving mother and grandmother, Anita will be fondly remembered by her son Richard Soileau and wife Norma of Eunice, her daughter Bonnie Joubert and husband Carroll of Opelousas, and her five grandchildren Brian Keith Soileau, Travis James Soileau, Douglas Joubert, Tommy Joubert, and Joey Joubert. Her memory will also be cherished by her four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She now joins in heaven her husband Ivan Soileau, her parents, Eddie and Agnes Sylvester, and special friend Lee Soileau.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6:00 PM.
