VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Amy Polaski Fears, 70, announces her passing on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 she was at home with her beloved family when she left this world to join her Savior in the next. A Funeral of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel of Ville Platte with burial to follow in Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Reverend Ross Ford will officiate the services.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Amy leaves behind her husband of fifty years, Bennie Lamar Fears of Ville Platte and their son, Kevin Lamar Fears and his wife, Denise of Ville Platte. Her memory will forever remain in the heart of her precious grandson, James Ian Lamar Fears, also of Ville Platte. Amy will be mourned by her sisters: Patricia P. Fontenot and her husband, John JD of Ville Platte and Elizabeth P. Hughes of Youngsville. Her sweet smile and gentle ways will be remembered fondly by her numerous nieces and nephews.
She will now reunite in Heaven with her parents, Joseph Gus and Rubye Mae Picou Polsaki and a brother, Joseph Jody Polaski. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 4:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2013 and continuing until 9:00 PM that evening and will resume at 8:00 AM Saturday morning and carry on until the time of the services.
