VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Addie Belle Thrasher Deshotel, 75, announces her passing on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Mercy Regional Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 06, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel of Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Turkey Creek Cemetery in with Br. Kennon Geisendorff officiating.

A devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Addie leaves behind her loving son, Johnny Allen Deshotel and wife, Brenda of Ville Platte two adoring daughters, Mary Guillory and Jennifer Charlie, both of Ville Platte and five caring brothers, Otis Thrasher and wife, Myrle of Turkey Creek, John Curtis Thrasher of Lecompte, Thomas Thrasher and wife, Brenda of Pine Prairie, Donald Wayne Thrasher and wife, Cathy of Pine Prarie, and Jimmy Thrasher of Turkey Creek. Also left behind to mourn are her eight grandchildren, Shainee Fontenot, Tylor Fontenot, Lynn Deshotel, Jodie Charlie, Cody Charlie, Heather Charlie, Robbie Deshotel, and Casey Guillory and two great grandchildren, Caden Richard and Jaden Desormeaux.

Addie now joins in Heaven her beloved husband, Allen Deshotel parents, Tom and Mary Thrasher sister, Genievie Blood brothers, Lloyd Thrasher and Herman Thrasher and Godchild, Toby Thrasher.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 3:00 pm until time of services on Thursday.
