VILLE PLATTE-Funeral Services will be held at a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Monday, April 22, 2019, for Juanita Vidrine, 77, who passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 in Ville Platte, LA surrounded by her loved ones.
Father Blake Dubroc, associate pastor at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and conduct funeral services.
Burial will take place in Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.
Juanita Barron Vidrine was born on August 10, 1941 in Ville Platte, LA to Albert Barron and Belize Fontenot Barron. She was a life long beautician in Ville Platte.
Juanita is survived by her sons, Virgil Vidrine of Lafayette and Gregory Vidrine and wife Karen of Prairieville; brothers, Terry Barron and wife Kathrine of Ville Platte and Ricky Barron and wife Yvonne of Ville Platte; sisters, Marylyn McDaniel of Ville Platte, Beryl Sabastian of Opelousas, and Yvonne Schuff and husband Tony of Ville Platte; and grandchildren, Brodie Vidrine and wife Beth, Christina Vidrine Alemand and husband Shane, Aimee Vidrine, and Alec Vidrine; and great-grandchildren, Colby Alemand, Brayden Alemand, Wilder Vidrine, and Vincent Vidrine.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rawlins Vidrine and her parents, Albert and Belize Fontenot Barron; brother, Dalvin Barron; and sister, Lou Kingston.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Sunday, April 21, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 6:00 PM on Sunday. Visitation will resume on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
